CAÑIZO

The Spanish company Todobarroa specialist in the design and production of terracotta and glazed tiles, has joined forces with Aït Manos, artisan zellige creator to create a zellige collection Mediterránea which seeks to reinterpret the aesthetics of these traditional coverings. 

The designs in the "Mediterránea" collection reflect a dialogue between cultures, celebrating the skills and materials that have shaped life in Andalusia and Morocco through the ages.

CAÑIZO is a pre-assembled, hand-glazed mosaic sheet. Easily installed on walls and floors. The "Cañizo" motif draws its inspiration from the emblematic elements of Mediterranean architecture, capturing the very essence of this region rich in history and culture. Composed of irregular, hand-cut baguettes, this pattern creates a fluid, dynamic movement that breathes authentic life into any space where it's integrated.
